LATVERIA, In the Marvel Atlas

I saw this in a bookstore, and thumbing through it there was of course an entry for Latveria. Some new facts in there, so I decided to pick it up.

Our Doom adorns the back cover:


And Inside we have two pages with facts about LATVERIA and a neat map of Doomstadt.



I noticed that Latveria has migrated a little east and south fromt the last time she appeared in the Marvel Index. But more troubling is she appears a bit smaller.

Actually, I can't recall having seen the moat to the castle ever illustrated like that before. Makes the castle look smaller than it is.

Anyway, on to some factos -

Latveria Map and Flag:


This is a different flag than we've seen before, with the rampant eagle and big letter D on a red background.

Again, different from previous maps, Latveria seems smaller and further east than before. I'll have to look up the previous map for a comparison.

Basic Stats:



Nothing too remarkable here.
